John Thomas - Director of Tennis
John is from Corpus Christi and has two sons. He is a USPTA teaching professional and USRSA master racquet technician. John was a tournament stringer and strung racquets at the U.S. Open. He started at Briarcrest Country Club September 2006.

Martha Schroeder- Head Tennis Pro
Martha started playing tennis when she was 18. She fell in love with the game immediately! About 12 years ago she started teaching tennis for the city parks and rec. dept in Powell, Wyoming. She also started a community Tennis Association and was a member of the Wyoming State Tennis Association. Martha was then hired as the Powell High School Tennis coach and coached for 3 years. After moving to Michigan, she taught tennis at an indoor tennis club for 2 years. Martha has attended many USTA workshops and is certified in wheelchair tennis. She also has attended Dennis Van de Meers Tennis University in Hilton Head , S.C. Martha considers herself a student of the game always learning something new and she would love to share that with you!

Claire Papp- Assistant Tennis Pro
Claire is from Montgomery, Texas. She was a member of the Elite TNC Tennis Academy. She also attended NCTC for 2 years. While she was there the team was ranked fourth in the nation. Claire also has 3 years of experience teaching students of all ages. Claire worked with April Sound Country Club for 2 years organizing tournaments and assisting with tennis clinics.
