Resident Membership
Persons holding Resident memberships have access to all facilities and have the right to vote and hold office. The current cost of this membership is $5,000.00; dues are $262.00 per month.
Corporate/Business Membership A Corporation may purchase one (1) Resident Membership for the current cost of $5,000.00 and then have an option to purchase "Additional Memberships" at a cost of $500.00 each. The corporation may appoint one (1) individual to exercise the rights of its Resident membership (including the right to vote and hold office). "Additional Memberships" shall be non-voting memberships, shall have no ownership rights, and members shall pay Resident dues and assessments. "Additional Members" shall have full use of all Club facilities. Dues are $262.00 per month. After four (4) years, persons holding a Corporate Additional membership have the option of upgrading their membership to a Full Resident membership by paying the difference of the current Resident membership initiation fee and that of the current Corporate Additional membership initiation fee. They will be granted ownership rights and voting rights. Otherwise, the membership will be transferred to an Associate membership. Associate Membership Associate Memberships shall have all the privileges as a Resident Member, but will not have the right to vote, hold office or have any ownership rights. Current initiation fee is $500.00; dues are $262.00 per month.
Resident Junior Membership Persons holding Resident Junior memberships have access to all facilities, including privileges of dining, swimming, tennis and golf for the member, member's spouse and unmarried children as prescribed by the Club. Junior Golf Memberships shall be available to those who are under thirty-five (35) years of age. If married, eligibility will be determined by the age of the older spouse. Resident Junior Members will not have the right to vote or hold office. Current initiation fee is $500.00; dues are $212.00 per month. Non-Resident Membership A person holding Non-Resident memberships has access to all facilities, but do not have the right to vote or hold office and is non-transferable. These persons must, on a continuing basis, reside outside of the Texas counties of Brazos, Grimes, Burleson, and Robertson. Current initiation fee is $500.00; dues are $158.00 per month. Alumni Membership Alumni Memberships have access to all club facilities including 24 rounds of golf per year and is available to applicants who live and work 75 miles from the club. Annual fee is $816.00. Non-Primary Dual Membership A person holding Non-Primary Dual Memberships have unlimited access to all facilities including privileges of dining, swimming, tennis and 8 rounds of golf per month. To qualify for this membership classification you must currently belong to another private club. Non-Primary Dual Members will not have the right to vote, hold office or have any equity in the club. Current initiation fee is $200.00; monthly dues are $158.00. Social Membership A person holding a Social Membership has access to dining, tennis, fitness, racquetball and swimming. This membership does not allow for use on the Golf Course or the right to vote or hold office and is non-transferable. Current initiation fee is $500.00; dues are $126.00 per month. Charges Dues for the month are payable in advance. Briarcrest Country Club has a $50.00 monthly food and beverage minimum charge. If a member does not spend $50.00 on food and/or beverages at the Club during a calendar month, the member will be billed for the balance of that amount at the end of each month. Non-Resident and Alumni members are exempt from the monthly food and beverage minimum charge. Use of Membership Each membership covers the member's spouse and minor children who meet the following criteria: - Not married
- Living with or supported by member
- Full time student
- Under 24 years of age
Intra-Club Transfers Persons in good standing, currently holding a Club membership, may transfer to another class of membership, provided: - The applicant is eligible for another membership classification.
- Payment of the difference between the amount paid for the current membership and the initiation fee of the new membership is made.
- The Board of Directors approves the transfer.
