Golf Course Information

Our Golf Program captures golfers of all skill levels. The 18-hole golf course plays to a par 72, at a length of 6678 yards from the Championship tees. Many of the holes are tree-lined and are a classic example of a challenging design and playable beauty. The design is “old-school” in that the course is very walkable as the next tee is always in close proximity. The course was completed in 1971 and has undergone putting green and fairway improvements to modernize the standards of play with current day grasses found at top-level courses across the South. The Champion bermudagrass putting greens contribute a great deal to the golfing experience. The green surrounds, undulations in the green surfaces and detailed maintenance make the greens at BCC top-notch.

Other facilities designed to complement the golf program are the adjacent practice areas: driving range, large practice putting green, chipping greens, and a separate short-game practice complex. Also integral to our golf program are our excellent staff of golf professionals providing private and group lessons. Active men’s, ladies and junior golf associations allow the golfers to mix with other golfers in fun events and activities. Additional services include bag and cart staff, pro shop, bag storage, men’s staffed locker room and women’s locker room amenities offer our members just the right accommodations. The Briarcrest Country Club Golf Program helps members enjoy the game and be as involved as they choose to be.
